Who are we?

Madrid2i is an instrument to support the governance and dissemination of the Smart Specialisation Strategy in Research and Innovation of the Community of Madrid (Research and Innovation Smart Specialisation Strategy RIS3) managed by the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d.

The information you will find in Madrid2i comes from the following sources, updated on a regular basis:

European Commission

• European projects: obtained from CORDIS (Community Research and Development Information Service), the European Commission's information service on EU-funded research projects, including Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020 and FP7 programmes.
• European funding and European tenders: obtained from the Funding & Tenders Portal, the European Commission's portal for funding calls and tenders.

Dealroom

• Startups, investors and entrepreneur support: data obtained from Dealroom, a global data platform on startups, investors and innovation ecosystems, filtered for the Madrid ecosystem.

European Patent Office (EPO)

• Patents: patent data for Madrid-based applicants obtained through the EPO's Open Patent Services (OPS).

Symposium Events

• Events: innovation and technology events and conferences relevant to the Madrid ecosystem, obtained from the Symposium Events platform.

Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d

• Europa2i news (De Madrid a Europa and EDIH Madrid blogs) and the Emprendedores blog, as well as data on the regional startup ecosystem.

Community of Madrid

• CAM calls: regional calls for grants and subsidies in the field of research and innovation. Content compiled from the following sources:
