Technology Areas

The EUROPA2i section Technology Areas is designed to support an agile, up-to-date search of European R&D&I funding opportunities based on the scientific-technological field of interest. Through this thematic organization, you can quickly identify the most relevant open calls for your sector and optimize your search time.

In this section, calls are grouped into major technology fields such as health, space, food, energy, environment, security, mobility, digital, bioeconomy and defence. We currently index a total of 990 opportunities.

R&D&I Programmes

R&D&I Programmes provides up-to-date information on calls available through European programmes and instruments such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, Erasmus+, Creative Europe, Euratom or the European Defence Fund, among others, helping researchers, companies, startups, technology centers and universities find opportunities aligned with their capabilities and lines of work.

EUROPA2i News brings together up-to-date and relevant information about the European R&D&I ecosystem. This space publishes key updates on European Union policies and initiatives, call results, launches of new programmes and other important announcements for the research and business community.

It also includes opinion pieces, specialized analysis and outreach content that help contextualize European research and innovation priorities, offering a practical and strategic perspective to support participation in future funding opportunities.

The section Success Cases highlights Madrid's participation in European R&D&I programmes, showcasing inspiring examples of organizations, companies, universities and research centers that have secured funding and achieved outstanding results at the European level.

This section shares experiences from researchers funded through programmes such as ERC, MSCA or EIC, as well as collaborative projects funded through different European initiatives with participation from the Community of Madrid. Through these testimonials and results, the section recognizes excellence and impact while also providing practical and motivating references for future applications.
