[0001] The invention relates to the use of the insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1) as a reagent for the early diagnosis and/or prognosis of Alzheimer disease, to a kit comprising IGF-1 and a sedative, and to the use thereof in the early diagnosis and/or prognosis of Alzheimer disease.
Reivindicaciones
1. Use of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) as early diagnostic and/or prognostic reagent of Alzheimer's disease. 2. Use according to claim 1, wherein the concentration of IGF-1 is between 50 and 300 µg/kg, in particular, between 100 and 250 µg/kg. 3. Use according to claim 2, wherein the concentration of IGF-1 is 150 µg/kg. 4. Use according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein IGF-1 is sequentially used with a sedative. 5. Use according to claim 4, wherein the sedative belongs to the group of benzodiazepines. 6. Use according to claim 5, where the sedative is selected from the group consisting of triazolam, oxazolam, estazolam, diazepam, lorazepam, lormetazepam, bentazepam, flurazepam, flunitrazepam, clonazepam clorazepate dipotassium and chlordiazepoxide. 7. Kit comprising insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and a sedative. 8. Kit according to claim 7, wherein the concentration of IGF-1 is between 50 and 300 µg/kg, in particular, between 100 and 250 µg/kg. 9. Kit according to claim 8, wherein the concentration of IGF-1 is 150 µg/kg. 10. Kit according to any of claims 7 to 9, wherein the sedative belongs to the group of benzodiazepines. 11. Kit according to claim 10, wherein the sedative is selected from the group consisting of triazolam, oxazolam, estazolam, diazepam, lorazepam, lormetazepam, bentazepam, flurazepam, flunitrazepam, clonazepam clorazepate dipotassium and chlordiazepoxide. 12. Kit according to any of claims 7 to 11, comprising compounds for the determination of the blood glucose. 13. Kit according to claim 12, where the compounds for the determination of the blood glucose are reactive strips. 14. Use of a kit according to any of claims 7 to 13, for the early diagnosis and/or prognosis of Alzheimer's disease.
