Resumen

The invention relates to a system that can perform the intra-oral detection of bruxist activity and other occlusal conditions and transmit to portable electronic elements which can analyse and interpret the information received and, consequently, act on the patient such as to stop the bruxist activity. The extra-oral actuation is performed by means of elements capable of emitting acoustic, light or vibration signals, as selected, which can be of variable or progressive intensity, so as to alert the patient to his/her unwanted behaviour. The intra-oral actuation stops the bruxist activity through the supply of drugs, bitter substances and/or the application of vibrating or electric stimuli.
