Resumen

The present invention relates to the use of organisms of the genus Leishmania with the HSP70-II gene deleted for the production of a drug for treating or preventing leishmaniasis in mammals, preferably in dogs, and more preferably in humans. Said invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions that contain said organisms, and to the use thereof in the production of vaccines against leishmaniasis.
