The invention relates to derivatives of p- hydroxy phenyl propionic acid, which are characterized in that they contain general formulae (I) and (Ia), wherein the value of n may be 1,2 or 3; R may be H or CH3 and R1 may be CH3 or H with pharmacological activity. The invention also relates to the use of said derivatives in the treatment of disorders of the immunological system.

Compounds according to claim 1 presenting any of the possible combinations among the different values of n and the structures corresponding to the radicals R and R1. 3. Derivatives of the compound, <img class="EMIRef" id="449574451-ib0036" /> characterised in that they have the following general formula: <img class="EMIRef" id="449574451-ib0037" /> where n can take the values 1,2,3; R can be H or CH<3> and R1 can be CH<3> or H. 4. Compounds according to claim 3 presenting any of the possible combinations among the different values of n and the structures corresponding to the radicals R and R1. 5. Compounds according to claims 1 and 3 with pharmacological activity and their application in medicine for the treatment of disorders of the immunological system. 6. Compounds according to claims 1 and 3 and their application in pharmacy for their use in the preparation of the usual galenic forms including in them the original compounds and pro-drugs such as esters, glycosides, etc.
