The invention relates to compounds derived from araquidonic acid of general formula (I), their stereoisomers and mixtures and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates. The invention also relates to a method for preparing the above-mentioned compounds, pharmacological characterization and therapeutic applications, wherein X represents CO, CS or CH2; Y represents CH2, O, S, NH or NR (R represents alkyl, alkylaryl or aryl); Z represents H or an alkyl, alkylaryl or aryl group; Heterocycle represents an aromatic monocyclic subunit or an aliphatic monocyclic subunit consisting of one or two heteroatoms and methylenic units or the benzofused derivatives of both subunits.
