1. CLAIMS 1. A lightweight construction material based on gypsum or plaster, characterized in that it comprises a curable matrix comprising, in an integrated manner: • 90–97.5% by mass of a mixture of water and a gypsum or plaster-based binding material, and • 2.5 – 10% by mass of an alcohol-based emulsion of an elastomer. 2. The lightweight construction material, according to claim 1, wherein the percentage by mass matrix of the elastomer emulsion comprises: or 5-10% elastomer fraction; or 2.5 – 7.5% peracetic acid (CH<3>CO<3>H); and or 85 – 95% ethanol (C<2>H<6>O). 3. The lightweight construction material, according to claim 2, wherein the elastomer particles comprise a mean diameter less than 0.8 mm. 4. The lightweight construction material, according to claim 3, wherein the elastomer is rubber. 5. The lightweight construction material, according to claim 4, wherein the rubber is recycled rubber from end-of-life tires. 6. The lightweight construction material, according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the binding material further comprises reinforcing fibers. 7. The lightweight construction material, according to claim 6, wherein the percentage of reinforcing fibers is in the range of 1-5% with respect to the total weight of the binding material. 8. The lightweight construction material, according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the water/binder mass ratio is between 0.6 and 0.7. 9. A panel characterized in that it comprises a lightweight construction material according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
