Resumen

Submergible system for exploiting the energy of marine currents, comprising a propellor with several blades which drive an electric generator, located in a central dome wherefrom radially extend several arms or columns, positioned in a perpendicular plane to the rotor axis, with floats, with the axis thereof parallel to the rotor, at the end of each arm. Due to the distribution of weights and flotation deviced, during operation the rotational torque and the moment of inclination hydrostatically offset each other. The assembly of arms and floats can be ballasted and emptied, with a view to changing the vertical submerged position during operation, to another horizontal position for facilitating maintenance. The assembly is secured to the bottom by a system of anchoring cables.

Reivindicaciones

1. Submergible system for exploiting the energy of marine currents built-it with a bladed screw rotor which moves an electrical generator, supported on a immersed radial (star) structure with several arms, located on a plane perpendicular to the rotor's axis. At the end of each arm it's located a torpedo shaped float with its axis parallel to the rotor axis. The structure is linked to the mooring system with a link point on an auxiliary buoy and has a ballast system that enables to move the generator from immersed vertical position on operation to the floating horizontal position for maintenance. The set of arms and floats could be filled or emptied with water ballasts, in order to move the whole position form a vertical orientation in submerged operation to a horizontal one when the structure is floating, at sea surface, for maintenance. 2. Submergible system for exploiting the energy of marine currents like claim 1, that moves the generator from floating horizontal position to immersed vertical position by means of controlled water ballast tanks, changing the water ballast we modify the buoyancy and centre of weight of the generator. The deployment systems are completed by a "tele-controlled guide rope" than links the generator structure to the mooring system. 3. Submergible system for exploiting the energy of marine currents like claims 1 & 2, with a rotor with three blades and a structure with three arms and the torpedoes situates asymmetrically relative to the arm's axis, in order to maintain vertically the structure, compensating with buoyancy forces the tilt momentum produced by the water current drag. 4. Submergible system for exploiting the energy of marine currents like claims 1 to 3, with a mooring system that has several cables or chains that join on a link point (passive buoy), that allow turn the structure around the link point. These maintain its position by mean of 3 or more mooring lines.
