Resumen
The invention relates to the use of siRNA and shRNA for the production of drugs for high intraocular pressure. The invention relates to siRNA and shRNA molecules for the selective silencing of the gene of purinergic receptor P2Y2. Said molecules can be used to produce pharmaceutical compositions that can reduce intraocular pressure and, as such, are suitable for use in relation to diseases associated with high intraocular pressure, such as glaucoma, uveitis and diabetic retinopathy, as well as certain infectious and systemic diseases.
