Resumen

A handling device (1) for objects along a walkable plane (1a) is provided, comprising a storage unit (2) with a frame (22) and one or more boxes (21) constrained to the frame (22) and provided with an object storage compartment and an identifier (213) configured to identify the objects in the compartment; and a mover (3) configured to engage with the storage unit (2) and to move it along the walkable plane (1a).

Reivindicaciones

C LA I M S 1. Handling device (1 ) for objects along a walkable plane (1 a) characterised in that it comprises: - at least one storage unit (2) each comprising o a frame (22) defining the structure of the storage unit (2), and o at least one box (21 ) constrained to said frame (22) and comprising ■ an object storage compartment, and ■ an identifier (213) configured to identify said objects in said compartment; - at least one mover (3) of said storage unit (2); and in that said mover (3) comprises - handling means (31 ) configured to control the movement of at least said mover (3) on said walkable plane (1a); and - an engagement block (33) of the mover (3) to said storage unit (2); and in that said block (33) comprises at least one mechanical connector (332), and said storage unit (2) comprises, for each said mechanical connector (332), an additional mechanical connector (28); said mechanical connector (332) and said additional mechanical connector (28) being configured to mutually engage so as to allow said mover (3) to move said storage unit (2) along said walkable plane (1 a); and - said block (33) comprises at least one electrical connector (333), and said storage unit (2) comprises, for each said electrical connector (333), an additional electrical connector (26); said electrical connector (333) and said additional electrical connector (26) being configured to mutually engage to establish an electrical connection between said mover (3) and said box (21 ) so as to allow said mover (3) to power said identifier (213) of each said at least one box (21 ). 2. Handling device (1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one box (21 ) comprises a battery powering said identifier (213); and wherein, when said electrical connector (333) and said additional electrical connector (26) are mutually engaged, said mover (3) is in electrical connection with said box (21 ) so as to recharge said battery. 3. Handling device (1 ) according to at least one of the preceding claims, wherein said block (33) comprises at least one alignment connector (334); wherein said storage unit (2) comprises an additional alignment connector (27) configured to engage with said alignment connector (334); and wherein said alignment connector (334) defines a convex contact surface (334a) and said additional alignment connector (27) defines a concave additional contact surface (27a) with that contact surface (334a), such that when said contact surface (334a) and said additional contact surface (27a) come into mutual contact, they ensure the correct mutual positioning of said mover (3) to said storage unit (2). 4. Handling device (1 ) according to at least one of claims 3-4, wherein said frame (22) defines a lower surface (2a) facing and spaced from said walkable plane (1 a) so as to define a free volume (2b) configured to receive at least part of said mover (3); wherein said additional connectors (28, 26, 27) are constrained to said frame (22) at said lower surface (2a) and protrude from said lower surface (2a); wherein said block (33) comprises a base (331 ) defining an upper surface (3a) facing said lower surface (2a) when said mover (3) is in said free volume (2b); wherein said connectors (331 , 332, 333) are constrained to said base (331 ) at said upper surface (3a) and protrude from said upper surface (3a); and wherein said mover (3) comprises an actuator configured to move said block (33) along a movement axis (3b) perpendicular to said surfaces, defining a disengagement configuration in which said connectors (28, 26, 27, 332, 333, 334) are mutually disengaged and an approach configuration in which said connectors (28, 26, 27, 332, 333, 334) are mutually engaged. 5. Handling device (1 ) according to the preceding claim, wherein in said disengagement configuration, the distance between said contact surface (334a) and said additional contact surface (27a) is less than the distance between said mechanical connector (332) and said additional mechanical connector (28) and the distance between said electrical connector (333) and said additional electrical connector (26). 6. Handling device (1 ) according to the preceding claim, wherein in said disengagement configuration, said distance between said mechanical connector (332) and said additional mechanical connector (28) is less than said distance between said electrical connector (333) and said additional electrical connector (26). 7. Handling device (1 ) according to at least one of the preceding claims, wherein said frame (22) defines a housing for said at least one box (21 ); wherein said storage unit (2) comprises a constraint (23) configured to releasably constrain said at least one box (21 ) to said frame (22), placing said at least one box (21 ) in said housing so as to allow extraction of said box (21 ) from said housing; and wherein said storage unit (2) comprises connection means (24) configured to define an electrical connection between said box (21 ) and said additional electrical connector (26) when said constraint (23) constrains said at least one box (21 ) to said frame (22). 8. Handling method comprising a handling device (1 ) according to at least one of the preceding claims and characterised in that it comprises: - a selection step of said at least one storage unit (2); - an engagement step in which said mover (3) moves from a disengagement configuration in which the mover (3) is not engaged to said storage unit (2) and an approach configuration in which the mover (3) is engaged to said storage unit (2) selected in said selection step; and - a movement step in which said mover (3) moves said storage unit (2) along said walkable plane (1a); and in that in said engagement step, during said transition from said disengagement configuration of the mover (3) to said approach configuration, it occurs that - said at least one mechanical connector (332) and said additional mechanical connector (28) mutually engage so as to allow said mover (3) to move said storage unit (2) along said walkable plane (1a); and - said electrical connector (333) and said additional electrical connector (26) mutually engage establishing an electrical connection between said mover (3) and said box (21 ) so as to allow said mover (3) to power said identifier (213) of each said at least one box (21 ). 9. Handling method according to the preceding claim comprising a handling device (1 ) according to claim 3; and wherein in said engagement step, during said transition from said disengagement configuration, it also occurs that said alignment connector (334) engages with said additional alignment connector (27), so that said contact surface (334a) and said additional contact surface (27a) come into mutual contact ensuring the correct mutual positioning of said mover (3) to said storage unit (2); and wherein the beginning of the engagement of said alignment connector (334) to said additional alignment connector (27) precedes the beginning of the engagement of said electrical connector (333) to said additional electrical connector (26) and follows the beginning of the engagement of said at least one mechanical connector (332) and said additional mechanical connector (28). 10. Handling method according to at least one of claims 8-9, wherein said handling device (1 ) comprises a server in data connection with said storage unit (2) and with said at least one box (21 ) and defines an object database associating to each of said at least one box (21 ) a first identifier of said box (21 ), at least one object in said object storage compartment and an additional identifier of said at least one storage unit (2); and wherein said handling method comprises a request step for said object; and wherein in said selection step said server, using said object database, selects said box (21 ) with said object selected in said request step and therefore said storage unit (2) associated with said box (21 ) and then communicates to said mover (3) said additional identifier of said storage unit (2).
