Resumen
Method of micro propagation of cork oak (Quercus suber L.) by means of leaf buds. The object of the invention is to multiply cork oaks from leaf buds by cloning. The method consists of the culture of leaf buds in aseptic conditions, in means supplemented with cytokine and auxin. The multiplied buds pass through an inductive treatment of rooting in means supplemented with auxin. An alternative method of induction of rooting consists in the direct application of an auxin solution to the base of the bud.In the first alternative as well as the second, they are then passed to base means that can be reduced in concentration.Said method can be applied to buds of juvenile as well as adult plants, with the aim of obtaining the production of plants. This procedure solves the problems of clonal propagation that the cork oak had, being recalcitrant to propagation by grafting and other conventional methods of plant propagation.
